Whether innovators are looking for investments, research collaborations, services or potential partners, every step of the way start-ups and scale-ups need to have an Intellectual Property (IP) strategy in place. Join Johnson & Johnson Innovation - JLABS to hear from different stakeholders how they think about IP strategies and how these may influence potential opportunities for collaboration.

Collaborations can be key to accelerate the development of healthcare innovations, but the more stakeholders you involve, the more complicated it can get to balance interests. Whether innovators are looking for investments, research collaborations, services or potential partners, every step of the way start-ups and scale-ups need to have an Intellectual Property (IP) strategy in place.

During this Johnson & Johnson Innovation - JLABS webinar you will hear from different stakeholders how they think about IP strategies and receive their advice on how you might finetune your strategy to open up potential opportunities for collaboration while protecting what is rightfully your invention.

Law firm Allen & Overy will kick off the session with a crash course in the basics of Intellectual Property protection. Afterwards, a panel will share their different perspectives on protecting and sharing IP. Speakers include a Tech Transfer Office (Leiden University), venture capitalist (BioGeneration Ventures) and pharma company (the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson).
