Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation with a budget of €95.5 billion.

The first calls for proposals for collaborative research action are due to be launched in the coming weeks.

Meet your future research partners for Horizon-Europe funded research collaborations in the areas:

Participants will receive focused briefings on the application modalities for selected Horizon Europe Calls for Proposal.

A virtual participant exhibition & 1-1 matchmaking sessions will allow participants to build international research networks.

This event will be open to institutions and organizations from the public and private sector across ASEAN and the European Research Area (ERA) who have the capacity and intent of joining a Horizon Europe-funded research consortium.

This event is organised by EURAXESS Worldwide ASEAN with the support of the European Commission.

Target audience

The event is aimed at research actors in the private and public sector across Europe (MS/ACs) and ASEAN with required expertise and interest to facilitate mutually beneficial participation in selected HE calls.

We are aiming to engage up to 500 participants.

The Platform

We have chosen Hopin as our virtual venue.

Please refer to the document ‘EUASEANHE2021_HopinExhibitorGuide’ to find out about the platform and how to participate.

The platform offers various opportunities for engagement with and between the participants.

Ø  Stage:

The Stage is where we reach out to the entire audience in one place. Here we will have the opening of the event and keynote speeches.

Ø  Virtual Exhibition:

The exhibition is where participants can share information about their organization in the form of poster presentations and videos. Details on how to best use this platform are presented in the separate guide. Please do note that further details will be shared in the coming days.

Ø  Sessions:

Sessions allow us to divide the participants according to interests into smaller groups. Each session will focus on one of the selected calls identified in the above and divide the participants accordingly.

Ø  Networking:

This part of the platform allows for face-to-face networking by pairing two people over a direct video call for a set period of time.

We are currently building the conference on the platform.

Information on how to register, how to participate as an exhibitor and how to participate in the sessions will be shared as soon as possible. For more info, contact euaseanhe2021@gmail.com
