Since the beginning of October, and after almost 500 days of political negotiations, Belgium finally has a new federal government that is supported by a stable majority in parliament. This is the result of a very long process in which every possible government composition was explored, until the so-called ‘Vivaldi coalition’ composed of liberals, socialists, greens and Christian-democrats (CD&V) turned out to be the only viable option.

flanders.bio is organising a members only session to learn more about what this means for Belgium, and for our life sciences industry.

This digital briefing session, by public affairs agency Akkanto, will take place on Thursday 29 October 2020 from 17h15-18h30.  In 60 minutes, Carl Buyck, partner at Akkanto (and former cabinet spokesman) will guide us through the most important elements of the government agreement and he will answer any question you might have.
