So, you want to take your R&D in AgTech and FoodTech to new international heights? Now’s your chance to forge some strong transatlantic bonds that will enable you to achieve just that!
Register today for a unique online meet-up between top R&D companies and research centers from Flanders – the northern region of Belgium – and Research Triangle Park in North Carolina (US). When to be there? April 28, 2022, from 3 to 5 p.m. CEST (9 to 11 a.m. EST).
Two ecosystems that work hand in glove
In recent years, the AgTech and FoodTech scene has made tremendous strides in Flanders – with numerous companies, research institutions and other organizations forming a successful ecosystem. Flanders’ food industry is one of the most prominent in Europe, with large and small players known for their quality (export) products.
Meanwhile, North Carolina is among the most diversified agricultural states in the US. Its winning combination of historically strong farming endeavors and a progressive STEM workforce make North Carolina a unique and powerful AgTech market and a highly developed and growing ecosystem – just like the one in Flanders.
It’s clear: the ecosystems in Flanders and North Carolina go together like peas and carrots. This has already resulted in a fruitful cross-pollination between the two regions. Think of US biotech pioneer Inari setting up an R&D branch in Flanders. Or, how about Flanders-based innovator Biotalys establishing its HQ in Research Triangle Park?
To further boost such transatlantic ties: that’s why Flanders Investment & Trade, flanders.bio and the Research Triangle Regional Partnership are organizing this online meet-up.
