Interuniversity Job Market for Young Researchers 2023

The JOB MARKET FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS will take place on Thursday 23 March 2023. Companies and organisations targeting PhDs and postdocs are expected to be present in Flanders Expo between 12 – 6 PM.
The cost for participation in the Job Market for Young Researchers amounts to 850 EUR. During the in-person fair companies and organisations can reach out to PhDs and postdocs from within their booth. Before the fair – between 2 February and 17 March – it will be possible to host an online career lunch in order to reach out a first time (free of charge) to PhD talent. It will also be possible to give online CV analysis to the target audience on Thursday 9 March. After the fair the CVs of the young researchers will be shared. Participation in the online programme is optional and free of charge.

Companies that also want to reach out to professional BAs and MAs on 23 March 2023 can join the general job market, which takes place simultaneously in Flanders Expo. The total cost for a combined participation with 2 booths (interuniversity Job Market for Young Researchers and general job market) amounts to 1250 EUR. De 2023 editie van de interuniversitaire Job Market for Young Researchers slaat de brug tussen PhD’s en postdocs en bedrijven en organisaties die wensen te kapitaliseren op de meerwaarde van het doctoraat. Vermits de JOB MARKET FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS wordt georganiseerd door UGent, KU Leuven, VUB, UAntwerpen en UHasselt ligt de gehele Vlaamse talent pool (én ver daarbuiten) binnen handbereik.
De interuniversitaire Job Market for Young Researchers vindt plaats op donderdag 23 maart 2023. Bedrijven en organisaties die PhD’s en postdocs targeten, worden verwacht aanwezig te zijn in Flanders Expo tussen 12 en 6 PM.
De kost voor deelname aan de JOB MARKET FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS bedraagt 850 EUR. Tijdens de beursdag kunnen bedrijven en organisaties uitreiken naar de doelgroep met een stand. Voorafgaand aan de beursdag kunnen ze -tussen 2 februari en 17 maart- een online career lunch hosten, en aldus een eerst keer (gratis) uitreiken naar PhD talent. Op donderdag 9 maart kan ook online cv-analyse worden geboden aan PhD’s en postdocs. Na afloop van de beurs ontvangen bedrijven en organisaties de cv’s van die jonge onderzoekers die de toestemming hebben gegeven om hun gegevens te delen. Deelname in het online programma is optioneel en gratis.

Bedrijven die op 23 maart 2023 ook wensen uit te reiken naar professionele BA’s en MA’s, kunnen aansluiten bij de algemene jobmarkt, die tegelijkertijd plaatsvindt in Flanders Expo. De totale kost voor een gecombineerde deelname met 2 standen (interuniversitaire Job Market for Young Researchers én algemene jobmarkt) bedraagt 1250 EUR. Voor deelname aan de algemene jobmarkt vinkt men de GOLD formule aan in het registratieformulier.
