Associate Scientist - Pharma

ProDigest is a pre-clinical service provider for in vitro simulation of the gastrointestinal tract to the  food, feed and pharma industry. Due to the increasing interest of our pharma customers in our new DIAMOD technology for de-risking their formulation development, we are expanding the team and looking for an enthusiastic associate scientist.  

Job description

·        Studying gastrointestinal dissolution and intestinal permeation of drug compounds using the DIAMOD® technology and further optimizing and expanding this technology platform accordingly.

·        Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment including pH electrodes, analytical instruments and automated machinery

·        Performing liquid chromatographic (HPLC/UHPLC) experiments, data analysis and reporting.  Identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and increase efficiency, including supporting SOP development

Required Qualifications

·        Bachelor of science

·        Interest in the drug development process and pharmaceutical industry

·        Precise and efficient

·        Team player, able to work well in a group setting as well as independently

·        Highly organized, but flexible

·        Result oriented and eager to learn

·        Excellent communication skills, fluent in English is an asset
