To strengthen our dynamic research team in Ghent, we are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Associate Scientist in the field of pharmacology.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will be involved in the development of bioanalytical methods, according to industry standards and guidelines.
You will closely collaborate with colleagues and external partners to test and optimize next-generation therapeutic antibodies.
You will contribute to the design of well-controlled experiments, prioritize your workflow and independently interpret and present your data.
You will work closely with internal and external antibody engineers and translational science experts.
You will maintain detailed and accurate records of experimental protocols and summarize study results in final reports if needed.

Profile
Bachelor / Masters in Biomedical Sciences, Bio-engineering or equivalent by expertise
At least 2-5 years of industry experience
In-depth expertise working with (one or more) pharmacology assays (PK, ADA, receptor occupancy, potency, tissue XR, species XR, biomarkers, ...).
Hands on experience with ELISA, protein labelling, multiplexing (Luminex, MSD, …)
Expertise with primary cell culture and flow cytometric analysis is an advantage.
Knowledge of MS Office is required, additional knowledge of analysis software (Spotfire, GraphPad) is an asset.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Self-starter, proactive, pragmatic attitude, prepared to go the extra mile
Quality conscious attitude
Proficient in oral and written communication (English)
