We are currently looking for a HR Specialist to support the Benelux Country HR team during an 18-month period of high workload with a special focus on Belgium HR activities. This opportunity could potentially change into a permanent position in the future.

As an HR Specialist, you will provide confident and dynamic operational HR support (including employee relations advice) to mainly Agilent’s Belgium but also Dutch employee population and their managers.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Work directly with employees and collaborate with multiple Agilent departments including Talent Acquisition, HR Services / Payroll, Legal, Finance & Workplace Services to support people-focused activities and transactions. - Support ongoing HR projects as well as taking on responsibility for HR improvement initiatives and specific employee issues such as performance management and employee challenges. - Support our teams through policy/guideline interpretation, implementation of business events, acquisitions, business reorganisations and more.

This role can be based in either in Belgium (Leuven, Brussels or Gent) or the south of the Netherlands (Middelburg). We can offer a flexible environment where working from home is possible up to 2 days a week.

Qualifications

- University Degree in Human Resources, Employment Law or close - At least 2 years experience in a HR Generalist/Advisor role, supporting employees and managers with HR topics, dealing with employee relations issues and handling people aspects of business transformations - Understanding/knowledge of Belgium employment laws. Knowledge of Dutch employment laws is an advantage - Experience working with HRIS systems - Full fluency in both English and Dutch. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office
