The role:

Your tasks and responsibilities will entail:

  • Applying analytical protein technologies to validate the quality/purity of Montis protein targets;

  • Managing and/or performing the cloning and research scale production of proteins including antibodies

  • Coordination and/or performing characterization of Montis therapeutic antibody lead candidates in multiple assays including ELISAs, SPR based affinity and epitope mapping methods and cell-based binding (FACS) and functional in vitro assays

  • Support Antibody Discovery Selection & Screening Strategies together with project teams

  • Delivering results in a timely manner

  • Involved in multiple projects simultaneously

Your profile:

We are looking for a Research Associate preferably with the following knowledge and expertise:

  • MSc in Biochemistry or Cell Biology with a minimum of 3 years of experience after your MSc

  • Experience in a biotech/pharma environment

  • Expertise and experience in therapeutic Antibody Discovery/Development

  • Mammalian protein production & purification methods, ideally with antibodies;

  • State-of-the-art analytical biochemistry methods;

  • Experience with cell-based binding (FACS) and functional in vitro assays

  • Experience in mammalian cell culture and sterile techniques

  • Practical experience of SPR-based affinity measurements & Antibody epitope mapping methods.

  • Ideally expertise in immuno-oncology

  • Excellent communication and project management skills

  • Strong commitment and accountability for completion of projects in accordance with objectives and ability to work and thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team-orientated environment

  • English (high fluency) – Dutch is an asset
