The Customer System Administrator is responsible to support DISQOVER platform setup for customers. You will apply your excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various operating systems and networks. You will monitor system and advice on infrastructure solutions for the DISQOVER platform.

   A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SYSTEM ENGINEER 

  • Provide first line support for DISQOVER deployments on customer infrastructure (on Cloud : AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and on-premise)

  • Communicate with IT departments of customers

  • Provide framework for container orchestration and mirco-services of customized development, and integration with third party tools and services.

  • Advice on platform architecture implementation (backup, production setup, monitoring, failover)

  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues

  • Update technical documentation

  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and security

 CUSTOMERS SYSTEM ENGINEER'S PROFILE

You hold…

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering (or equivalent)

You have…

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

  • A Service-oriented Mindset

  • Experience with Linux administration

  • Solid scripting skills (e.g., bash, Python)

  • Excellent motivation to learn

 A distinct plus would be knowledge of or experience with…

  • Solid networking knowledge (Network topologies, network security, setup and maintenance of VPN, DNS Management)

  • Proficient in SQL database administration (e.g. PostgreSQL)

  • Cloud solutions like AWS and Azure

  • Experience with monitoring systems (DataDog, Zabbix or equivalent)

  • Experience with automation software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

  • Experience with authentication protocols (e.g. SAML, Active Directory)

  • Experience with ISO27001 or equivalent

  • Experience in customer support

  • Experience with Docker
