Aphea.Bio is based in Gent, Belgium embedded in the largest European Agro-Biotech valley.

To strengthen its Digital team Aphea.Bio is looking for a part time (50%) Frontend Developer who will be involved in the development of our data management systems.


Main responsibilities:

Aphea.Bio has developed a series of internal webservices that provide data storage, management and visualisation. As a member of the Digital team you will implement new functionality and help in the ongoing development of the existing systems. Your primary focus is on the user-facing side where you develop user interfaces and data visualisations.



  • You are an experienced Python developer

  • You have worked with web frameworks, preferably Django

  • You have a working knowledge of web design (HTML, CSS)

  • You have an eye for developing intuitive user interfaces

  • You are creative with data visualisation

  • You can work autonomously and precise

  • You have a quality-driven approach

Education and Experience:                            

  • Bachelor in ICT or equivalent by experience

Other skills:               

  • Language skills: fluent in English (written and verbal)

  • Interpersonal skills: team player, creative, communicative, optimist, committed, flexible, entrepreneurial, organized, problem-solver
