Job Description
Management tasks
Acquiring projects (and drafting proposals) for the SalesLab team
Coordinating, assisting, and supervising all SalesLab activities
Guiding, composing, and delegating the SalesLab team
Maintaining a clear overview of the numbers from a budgetary perspective and providing the necessary financial reports as well as risk assessments
Operational tasks
Leading the business development of our customers on a project basis: find customers for our customers in order to launch their product/service well on the market
Managing, supporting, and coaching the sales department of our clients with the aim of creating a fully independent team at the end of the project
Utilising innovative market strategies to attract new clients
Researching possible manners to satisfy the need of our clients
Initiating the negotiations of collaboration agreements
Studies, experience and skills
Master’s degree in bioengineering, biomedical sciences, or any other master of science in combination with a business background acquired via education or hands-on experience
Minimum 10 years experience in new sales/ business development within life sciences
Knowledge and/or a network within the medical devices market
Excellent written and verbal skills in English, Dutch and/or French
Eagerness to share knowledge and good team-managing skills
You are a true entrepreneur, salesperson and can easily identify and capitalize on the needs of potential clients
