We are looking for a motivated, experienced and quality-oriented Software Architect to join the team.
You will further coordinate the architecture, design, implementation and verification of the complete software system and its components. You will steer a Belgian and an offshore team. MVP, scope, UI are sharply lined out for phase 1, so you will be able to kick start the project on a 1-2 days/ week rhythm.
You are involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle. You set up and maintain the overall processes, write software documentation and coach the software developers (in-house, as well as third-party offshore), in correct execution of these processes.
You co-create and translate the user needs to clear guidelines to the developers, you build design inputs in architecture specifications, software requirement specifications and system design specifications and you make the documentation available in order to assure continuity.
You have a dynamic and flexible personality: willingness to take up new responsibilities and tasks as they arise
Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to implement and manage change
You can make decisions that matter and you are able to inspire the users and developers as a bridge-making talent.
REQUIRED COMPETENCES & SKILLS
You are skilled and experienced in both back-and front-end development.
You have knowledge of more updated versions of the technology.
You have experience with AWS, REST API via NodeJS & NestJS, Socket.io, Docker, Angular, Bootstrap, Typescript. ·
You understand the principles of TDD and DDD.·
You are a Team player, open to others’ ideas and feedback.
You are fluent in Dutch and English.
