Job description & main responsibilities

You will:

• Translate pharmaceutical requirements into equipment specifications and improvements

• Develop necessary improvements and additions on the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)-ready prototype

• Provide guidance to engineering colleagues & teams within and outside RheaVita

• Execute the necessary steps to achieve the technology roadmap

• Involve advisory specialists on topics such as data processing, sensors, modelling

• Supervise testing and validation of RheaVita’s GMP-ready prototype

• Set-up and maintain adequate documentation structure for GMP

• Support business development

The person RheaVita is looking for:

• Has a background in applied technologies and engineering, more specifically in the field of mass and heat transfer, such as mechanical, chemical and physics

• Has more than 5 years experience within the field of advanced production equipment

• Has demonstrated managerial skills to lead technology teams

• Is fluent in English, both written and orally - knowledge of another language is a plus

• Is knowledgeable on simulation and control software such as Matlab, Python, Octave, Labview (is able to program)

• Is a proficient user of Word, Powerpoint, Visio, Excel

• Likes to be challenged and challenge others on technical and organizational matter

• Is prepared to travel when necessary: manufacturing location in the Netherlands, subcontractors in Germany, testing location near Ghent, customers in Europe and US

• Is prepared to take responsibility for Technology on the Operational level
