The labs have their main activities in a state-of-art anacura building set in a green environment near Ghent, Belgium.
OHMX.bio is a leader in advanced -omics technologies, specializing in cutting-edge discovery and (pre)clinical studies. We offer personalized, on-demand multi-omics research services, seamlessly integrating state-of-the-art wet lab and bioinformatics capabilities to deliver exceptional quality. Our expertise spans genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, translatomics, proteomics, and microbiomics, supported by technologies like Next and Third Generation Sequencing, qPCR, mass spectrometry.
OHMX.bio is exited to expand its innovative and dynamic team with a highly motivated pharmaceutical analyst. You will play a crucial role in our semi-automated workflows, contributing to various stages of the process going from extraction of DNA/RNA from a wide array of samples, to library preparation and next and third generation sequencing techniques. Your work will be vital in ensuring the ensuring the high quality of our services.
Responsibilities
Perform DNA and RNA extractions on a wide range of samples (cells, tissue, liquid biopsies, metagenome samples,…).
Perform established library preparation workflows for next and third generation sequencing (ONT) techniques.
Perform quality control tasks on extracted samples and sequencing libraries.
Interpret results and initiate further investigation in case of deviations.
Maintain accurate documentation related to the wet lab procedures.
Participate in internal training sessions.
Collaborate with the bioinformatics team to ensure data integrity and support the development of new analytical methods.
Assist in the optimization of workflows, ensuring they meet the high standards set by OHMX.bio.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and work instructions as prescribed by ISO 9001, 27001, and GCLP standards.
Profile
You hold a Professional Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical and Biological laboratory techniques, Biotechnology, or a related field.
You work with high precision and can organize your tasks efficiently.
You have strong problem-solving skills and can multitask effectively.
You embrace the opportunity of working with new technologies.
Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
