Our Regional Sales Representatives are responsible for the sales of research products and services within a defined territory, primarily by using the telephone, but also email, Internet, and other technology.
Our Regional Sales Representatives also maintain effective customer relations, develop opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assure market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.

This role could suit a recent graduate with a scientific background or a candidate with a little sales experience wanting to work for a global leader. The role is office based with some travel involved around parts of Belgium - likely 1-2 days per week.
Accountabilities:
Identify sales opportunities with new and existing customers and successfully manage the sales of company products and services to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan.
Maintain and increase current customer database through Company customer relations management software (Sales Force CRM) and coordinate sales processes for assigned accounts within your sales territory.
Manage and close sales leads generated by colleagues in Marketing and Technical Support teams.
Regularly provide written and verbal communication of successes, failures, best practices, to improve the overall operating efficiency of the team, region and sales organization.
Communicate with research scientists at all accounts to discover their needs, share product information and create sales presentations.
Participate in sales, product and systems training, marketing campaigns and special projects as presented by the Company to develop appropriate selling skills consistent with Company philosophy, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate quotations within Company Guidelines by extending competitive pricing as needed to maintain and increase revenues with guidance from Management and/or Marketing.
Provide sales forecast for assigned territory to support business understanding.
Skills Needed:
Degree in a science-related subject.
Previous sales experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and French.
Good attention to detail.
Willingness to travel to customer sites.
