What will you be doing

As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage a cross-functional team in the execution of the biometrics and medical affairs (medical review, central imaging and pharmacovigilance) aspects of a clinical trial. Your main responsibility is to plan, organize, coordinate and control the project-related biometrics activities in order to achieve all the objectives described in the contract within the constraints of timelines and budget and while keeping compliance with ICH-GCP and the applicable procedures.

 

You will:

  1. Serve as the biometrics primary contact to the sponsor and other parties involved in a clinical trial

  2. Assist in the initial budget and negotiations with the sponsor

  3. Coordinate the assignment of a project team

  4. Create and manage timelines for project delivery and distribute to internal and external parties

  5. Follow up together with the project team on the status of the project towards the defined deliverables

  6. Be responsible for regular project budget review

  7. Actively review any changes to the scope of the project and discuss changes with the customer 

  8. Manage project audits with the QA manager

 

 

Ideal work experience and education

  • A University degree or PhD in (Life) Sciences or equivalent through experience in another CRO

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with biometrics project management in clinical trials

  • Strong knowledge and working experience with ICH-GCP guidelines & procedures, DIA Reference model

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office

  • Good communication and negotiation skills

  • Good verbal and written skills in English - knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
