Dualyx NV (www.dualyx.com), located in Ghent (Belgium), is a fast-growing and innovative biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapies through state-of-the-art antibody generation. Our pipeline consists of a number of promising immune modulating programs, including an antibody agonist targeting the TNF receptor 2 (TNFR2), which is currently in the line-up for clinical development. At the moment, we are looking for an experienced (Senior) Scientist Bioanalysis to strengthen our dynamic research team in Ghent (full-time employment; 80-100% on-site).
Accountabilities
Develop and qualify bioanalytical methods, including immunoassays and cell-based assays to support PK and ADA read-out according to industry standards and guidelines
Perform Non-GLP preclinical sample analysis using in-house qualified assays (PK, PD, ADA)
Interact with CRO vendor partners to oversee PK and ADA method transfer, validation, and regulated sample analysis in support of preclinical and clinical studies
Guide a small team in setting up the bioanalysis strategy and experiments and perform wet lab experiments as needed
Document experimental protocols and study results in detailed final reports, analyse and summarize data in a timely fashion, present status update team members
Qualifications
Bachelor, Master in Biomedical, Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical sciences
At least 5 years of industry experience
Requirement: in-depth expertise in assay development for PK and/or ADA
Experience in other complex pharmacology assays (receptor occupancy, potency or biomarker assays) is an additional asset
Expertise in primary cell culture, flow cytometric analysis, protein labelling, multiplexing in support of ongoing research activities is a plus
Quality conscious attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with effective time-management skills
Proficiency in oral and written communication (English) and in MS Office is required, additional knowledge of analysis software (Spotfire, GraphPad) is an asset
