Associate Scientist – Gastrointestinal Simulations and Analytics

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and driven Associate Scientist to join our laboratory, focusing on cutting-edge gastrointestinal simulations and analytics.

About the Role

As a vital contributor to our team, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the success of both customer-focused and internal R&D projects. Your daily responsibilities will involve organizing and executing a variety of laboratory activities, working with advanced molecular, analytical, and biological techniques.

 Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the execution of gastrointestinal simulation experiments using our proprietary simulation platforms.

• Utilizing a wide range of state-of-the-art techniques such as DNA extractions, qPCR, gas and liquid chromatography, spectrophotometric assays, and flow cytometry.

• Analyzing experimental data and providing detailed reports to scientists and project managers.

• Contributing to innovation and continuous improvement within the lab, ensuring our processes keep on running smoothly.

 Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, etc.).

• Hands-on experience in microbiology, molecular biology, or biochemistry is highly advantageous.

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• A keen eye for accuracy and precision, ensuring adherence to laboratory safety protocols and delivering timely results.

• Flexibility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining a results-driven focus.

• A high degree of responsibility and integrity, with a commitment to transparent, confidential, and ethical work practices.

• A desire to continuously learn and grow, bringing energy and curiosity to every task.

• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English being a significant asset.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel for data processing and reporting.
