Open position as Business Developer for Flanders.

To support our growth, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced colleague to join us in order to increase our activity in the region of Flanders, Belgium. Flanders has a very active pharma, biotech and medtech ecosystem, with companies of all sizes and maturity levels. Business development in a region such as Flanders requires a good knowledge of its culture as well as a personal network already well-established in this industry. This position of Business Developer for Flanders shall report directly to DNAlytics top management, and also offers collaboration with our data scientists team.

Responsibilities:

For Flanders :

1. Sales of data sciences-based projects in the healthcare industry, in particular to two types of customers : R&D teams of Biotech, Pharma, or MedTech companies, in charge of developing new healthcare products and services ; Biomanufacturing teams of Biotech, Pharma, or C(D)MO companies (either in charge of everyday production, or process improvement, or process development).

2. Promote visibility and reputation of the company through communication initiatives, events organization, etc

3. Gather market knowledge, and share it with the rest of the team.

4. Gather post-project customer feedback.

Experiences:

Prior successful experience in similar positions.

Languages:

• Flemish as a mothertongue is required ;

• Fluent oral/written English required ;

• Other languages are a plus.

Others:

An extensive network of contacts in the the targeted industry is mandatory. Very good communication skills are required. A general knowledge of Data Sciences / AI nature, challenges and opportunities is needed. Show good team spirit but sufficiently autonomous to evolve in a dynamic startup.
