Indigo is looking to hire an enthusiastic and hands-on Manufacturing Associate, to join the Operations & Manufacturing team. As a Manufacturing Associate you will be responsible for performing manufacturing operations, including building,  inspecting and testing complex medical devices. You will be setting up and operating high-precision machinery including bespoke and standard lab equipment.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Perform manufacturing operations and quality controls according to written procedures

  • Setting up and operating equipment involved in the manufacturing and testing of our medical device

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance routines in the manufacturing environment

  • Support labelling, counting, packaging of material according to written procedures

  • Report problems and improvements to team lead as soon as detected

  • Registration of information in a database

  • Inspection, registration and storage of incoming goods

  • Preparing and registering shipments to customers and suppliers

  • Placing purchase orders

Requirements

  • Technical degree in engineering or equal by experience

  • Accept and be able to work in a medical device environment and be familiar with ISO 13485 standards.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)

  • Proficient knowledge of written and spoken English – working language is English Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international team environment

  • Experience with lab equipment (e.g. microscope) or in a medical/pharmaceutical environment is considered a plus

  • Accept and be able to work in a medical device environment and be familiar with ISO 13485 standard
