Job content

As our Quality Control Lab Engineer, our QC laboratory is your favorite place to work: you perform lab tests to monitor the manufacturing process and to support the release of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP).

Responsibilities:

• Perform analytical methods to monitor productivity, purity, and quality

• Support analytical development activities including assay development, qualification and validation of the test method

• Perform equipment validation and support external calibration and maintenance

• Perform incoming inspection and release of incoming materials

• Support Quality Assurance activities including follow up on CAPA’s, change controls, supplier qualification

• Investigate out-of-specification results in a timely manner

• Ensure high quality documentation

• Follow up on the latest scientific insights in your field of expertise

• Engage in a broad range of activities in order to grow simAbs into a strong and reliable partner for future clients

Profile

Education:

Master Degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Lab Technology or equivalent through relevant experience. Ideally you already have +/- 3 to 5 years of working experience.

Competences:

Technical skills:

• Standard molecular biology techniques:

  • Gel electrophoresis (agarose, CE-SDS and SDS-PAGE)

  • ELISA

  • HPLC

  • Spectrophotometry

• Microbiological test methods:

  • Endotoxin

  • Biooburden

  • Growth promotion tests

• Skilled in aseptic working

• Skilled in Quality Control

• Skilled in GMP

Soft skills:

• High degree of accuracy, well organized and result oriented team player

• Strong and honest communicator

• Flexible both in content as in time (occasional working during the weekend, early morning, evening or night)

• Enjoying the start-up flow of our organization
