Cryptobiotix was founded in 2021 with the aim of challenging the status quo, both in technology and in the way we do business. Position summary

We are looking for a senior lab technician to strengthen our operations. Your key responsibility will be to expertly perform optimised protocols for our core activity. Your experience and desire to learn, make you able to identify issues and come up with solutions or frame a path to it together with your colleagues.

We are looking for a person with at least 5 years of demonstrated industry experience to implement routine and non-routine analyses and experiments with a high amount of autonomy. We are open-minded and we value each other’s inputs to tackle various challenges in synergistic ways. Experience and education requirements

Bachelor, or Master of Science with minimum 5 years of industrial lab experience in nutrition, biological or chemical sciences in relevant fields

Laboratory experience

• Focused mindset, able to repeat manipulations with precision

• Likes to understand the reasoning behind a specific implementation and to think along

English proficiency, Dutch is a plus

Additional preference:

• Prior lab experience in microbiology or gastrointestinal research

• Bioinformatics experience in R software

• Ability to adapt to different depths of technological discussions depending on interaction partners

• Experience working in an international and multi-cultural environment

The yearly gross salary range for this position is 45k€-60 k€, based on experience. Additional benefits include meal vouchers, premium insurance package, phone contract.
