On the occasion of BioJapan 2022, the leading partnering event for the biotech and life science industry in Asia, flanders.bio and FIT Tokyo are joining forces for the organisation of a Flemish Biotech and Life Sciences Week in Japan on 11-14 October, 2022.

Japanese pharma companies are intensively looking for licensing opportunities to fill their pipelines. Participation to the Flemish Biotech and Life Sciences Week is a unique opportunity for your company to explore this market. Over the past 15 years, many Flemish companies & organisations have joined us and started partnerships with Japanese companies.

Programme

flanders.bio and FIT Tokyo are offering the following program :

  • A pavilion at BioJapan 2022 (12-14 October, Tokyo), showcasing the Flanders Biotech and Life Science Cluster. This pavilion will promote the participating Flemish companies through one A1 display poster per company. The participating companies will also get a one page in the pavilion brochure (English/Japanese), and can display promotion material in the pavilion.
     

  • The participating Flemish companies can register for the online B2B partnering system of BioJapan. This system enables live (or virtual) meetings with potential Japanese partners during the 3 days of the exhibition. In the past, this partnering tool has proven to be very efficient in connecting with the life sciences and pharmaceutical industry of Japan, and registration is therefore highly recommended. Each participating Flemish company will receive two free accounts. This account can be used by two persons of your company. Additional accounts can be requested at flanders.bio and will be ordered by FIT Tokyo against cost price.
     

  • A seminar about the Biotech and Life Science Cluster of Flanders on 11 October at the Embassy of Belgium in Tokyo. Here the participating Flemish companies will be able to give a presentation. The seminar will be followed by a networking reception. Japanese attendees will be invited by FIT Tokyo through its own network and  through the network of FIT’s life sciences partners in Japan. Your (potential) Japanese business partners are also welcome to participate.
     

  • A networking reception after the seminar to which each of  the participating companies can invite 3 persons. 

IMPORTANT NOTE

We call for application assuming that all travel restrictions will be lifted. If there still would be any restrictions, there will be a hybrid (live/virtual) Flemish Life Science & Biotech Week and the fee will be adapted.
