Hedwig Maes appointed new CEO of Agidens
Agidens, the Belgian system integration company specialized in process optimization by means of consultancy, engineering, turnkey automated solutions and maintenance services, has appointed Hedwig Maes as new Chief Executive Officer of the company. As of October 1st, Mr. Maes will take over responsibilities from Geert Stienen, who indicated a couple of months ago that he wanted to pursue a new challenge outside the company.
With Hedwig Maes, Agidens gains a highly experienced Managing Director with a profound background in the business in which Agidens operates. Hedwig Maes studied Industrial Electronics at IHAM and Business Economics at UFSIA University in Antwerp. He is a Senior Executive with over 30 years of global experience in industrial automation and industrial systems, including 14 years with General Electric as Senior Vice President Enterprise Solutions and 10 years with Rockwell Automation where his last position was Vice President Global Systems & Solutions. His strategic capabilities combined with international business experience will be an important contribution in bringing Agidens to the next level.
