RIC group, a leading company in analytical chemistry, will officially inaugurate its new headquarters at President Kennedypark this week.

RIC was founded in 1986 by Prof. Dr. Pat Sandra (Ghent University) and is now headed by his sons Koen and Tom Sandra. From its modest beginnings in a garage, RIC has grown over the years into a globally recognized expertise center in chromatography and mass spectrometry. RIC develops analytical solutions for various markets such as food, petrochemicals, environment and pharmaceuticals, as well as more recent industries like biotechnology.

The new building spans 3,000 square meters and houses advanced laboratories that will further enhance RIC's research capabilities. The growth of RIC highlights the company’s commitment to boosting the local economy and the scientific community in Flanders.

"Our new headquarters is a major step forward in the 38-year history of our family business," says Tom Sandra. "It ensures a continued sustainable growth of our activities and strengthens our reputation both locally and internationally."

"Innovation and collaboration are the foundation of our success," adds Koen Sandra. "We continuously invest in the latest technologies and value our close ties with the scientific community. Taking chances and thinking outside the box are essential to safeguarding our role as experts.”

In addition to its daily activities, RIC also focuses on innovation and training in analytical sciences. This ensures the company’s leadership position and prepares the next generation of scientists.
